Arizona’s Cowpuncher’s Rodeo will not disappoint…

Arizona’s Cowpuncher’s Annual Reunion Rodeo

Whether you are a native to Arizona or a first-time visitor, Arizona’s Cowpuncher’s Annual Reunion Rodeo is an event you don’t want to miss. Started in the 1970s, the rodeo replicates the working cowboy’s rodeos from the past. It is held during the month of June in the town of Williams, Arizona. While participation is limited to members of Arizona’s Cowpuncher Reunion Association and their families, watching the unique and sometimes wild and crazy events will not disappoint.

What to expect

The events are based on daily activities that take place on working cattle and horse ranches. They include the Wild Horse Race, Wild Cow Milking, Cowboy Bronc Riding, Steer Riding, Dally Calf Roping, Team Tying, Ribbon Roping, and many more team roping events for the whole family. The rodeo makes a point to incorporate competitions for all ages. And of course, there is food, music, and dancing.

Williams, Arizona

You will also want to spend time strolling down Historic Route 66 which runs through the small town of Williams. There are Americana-style shops and restaurants, some dating back to the early 1900s. You can also hop on the Grand Canyon Railway and ride through Arizona’s high country. And don’t be surprised if you see a gunfight or get robbed by wild west bandits while you are on the train. It’s part of the numerous reenactments you will see on your visit.

In conclusion

Arizona’s Cowpuncher’s Annual Reunion Rodeo started as a way to get together with friends. Today it is a fun event for those who are familiar with the cowboy lifestyle and those who are not. There is no limit to the fun you will have. The Curicyn Team has added it to our calendar as a yearly must-attend event. Be sure to stop by our booth and say hello.
