Curicyn may be known around the world today, but our origins are firmly rooted in the American heartland. Coming from humble beginnings as a homemade remedy in the back of a pickup truck, the Original Wound Care Formula’s effectiveness was noticeable by all who used the product from the beginning. Once we saw how well it worked, we sprang into action to bring the product to the world to help as many animals as we can to heal and thrive.
Through working with well-respected scientists, veterinarians, trainers, and horsemen around the USA to conduct in-depth field trials, we were able to verify what we already knew. The results were clear: the Curicyn product line provides effective, safe, and fast-acting solutions that help heal various wounds and skin ailments. From those humble beginnings, our product line and brands have grown into a dependable line of solutions for the animal care market, made and shipped from our location in Ashford, Alabama.
Our Agricultural Roots
While many Americans today own household pets, the number of hobby farms, backyard chicken, and barnyard animal owners is growing. Our products are popular among dog and cat owners everywhere, but you may not know that our original products were made for livestock. It wasn’t until after we saw the product’s effectiveness, the field trials, and our work with professionals and veterinarians that we realized how incredible the wound care line was at helping family pets and other animals, too!

Intelligent Product Line Expansion
Curicyn started with wound care but quickly expanded into different formulations based on the real-life needs of our customers. Products such as the Pink Eye Solution became a critical addition for livestock owners as a pink eye infection in one animal can rapidly spread through an entire herd. Our solution offers the same trusted effectiveness as the Wound Care Spray, in a formulation that is safe and effective on the eyes of all animals, thus helping with relief and preventing further spread and infection.
Additional variations came to be developed based on other needs and uses, such as our Wound Care Clay. It contains the same healing formulation as the Original Wound Care Spray, in a cooling, soothing clay base that adheres to the animal’s wound and reduces the need for a bandage. Similarly, our Dual Action Gel takes that concept one step further, with a gel agent added to the Original Formula that adds insect protection to provide a barrier to keep bugs, dirt, and debris out and healing properties on the wound for faster healing.
Most recently, we added Wound Care Wipes to the product line. Excellent for hard-to-spray locations or animals who do not like being sprayed, the wipes come pre-moistened with the Original Formula in an easy to use wipe. The individual wipes make it simple to wipe wound care on where and when you need it, on faces, around the eyes, in ears, and other sensitive areas.
